API Keys

API Keys are used to securely connect your applications to Flowtrail AI. Each key acts as a unique identifier to authenticate and authorize access to the chat and other features. You can easily create, update, or revoke keys as needed, ensuring secure and controlled access to your data.

Add API Key

To create a new API key, go to the Settings page in your Flowtrail AI account. Under the API Keys section, click on Add New Key.

Fill the Form

When adding a new API key, you’ll need to fill out a simple form with the following details:

• Name: Give your API key a clear, descriptive name to help you identify its use.
• Issue Date: The date when the API key is created.
• Valid For: Specify the duration for which the API key will remain active.
• Description: Optionally, add a short description to explain the purpose of this key.

Note: Once you generate the API key, you won’t be able to view it after 5 minutes. Make sure to copy the key and store it in a safe place for future use.

Manage API Keys

You can view all your generated API keys on the API Keys page in the Settings section. From here, you have the option to delete or regenerate keys as needed. This allows you to manage access securely, ensuring that only active and authorized keys are in use.
